There are many delicious desserts that even vegans can indulge in guilt-free as they have no artificial additives, dairy products or eggs. Here are some of those easy vegan desserts recipes that you can make for your vegan friends and family members. 

Basil Berry Lemonade Sorbet

1 c. sugar

1 c. lightly packed fresh basil

6 c. frozen mixed berries

3/4 c. lemon juice


  • Combine sugar and a cup of water in a saucepan. Heat until the sugar dissolves. Add basil in the water and let stand for 15 minutes. Strain the syrup, discarding the basil.
  • Refrigerate this liquid until it is cold.
  • Pure frozen berries in a blender. Add lemon juice and cooled basil sugar syrup. Transfer this into a baking pan and freeze until firm.
  • Scoop and serve.

No Bake Lemon Tarts

For the crust

  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • ¾ cup raw cashews
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil melted
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

For the filling

  • 1 cup raw cashews soaked in cold water 
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • ⅓ cup coconut oil
  • ¼ cup canned coconut milk
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt


  • Grease a 9 inch tart pan with some coconut oil.
  • Mix the shredded coconut and cashews in a food processor and pulse to mix well. The cashews should be broken into smaller pieces. Next, add the coconut oil, lemon juice, maple syrup and lemon zest. Pulse again to combine well.
  • Next, press this mixture at the bottom of the greased pan.
  • Again blend all the ingredients of the filling until you get a silky smooth and creamy texture. Add a little more coconut milk or lemon to blend everything well. Adjust the syrup if required and then pour this filling in the prepared crust. Level the top with a spatula.
  • Place it in the fridge for 2 hours to cool and set. Serve chilled.

Vegan Chocolate Pudding


  • 1 ½ cup coconut cream 
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 6 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt


  • Take a saucepan and whisk coconut cream, unsweetened cocoa and maple syrup and mix well until smooth.
  • Stop once you get a smooth and silky texture. Continue to cook and stir over low flame until the mixture starts boiling.
  • Remove from heat, stir the vanilla and the salt. Add some more maple syrup if you like it sweeter. Pour this mixture into individual containers, and refrigerate to chill or set.
  • Cover and set in the fridge overnight to get a thick and creamy pudding.
