It is no secret that most people love salad dressing. Whether it is a light, green salads such as Vegan Nicoise Salad with a Red Bell Pepper Salad, or a hearty, grain-based variety such as gluten-free corn tortilla salad, you just can’t go wrong. In fact, one of my all time favorite ways to immediately upgrade an already existing homemade salad is by adding a new herb-based salad dressing. With just a few simple additions, your baked potato salad can be transformed into something spectacular.

If you are looking for some great, easy recipes using ingredients that everyone has at home, check out the “auli” and “satya” recipes. The first recipe I am going to share with you comes from a family tradition in Mumbai, India called “Bhel puri”. This is definitely an authentic Indian way of cooking vegetables using a mixture of spices like turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, and cardamom. For the dressing, you simply need to mix two teaspoons of lime juice with one teaspoon of ground cumin powder, two teaspoons of tamarind, and a pinch of rock salt to taste.

To make the “Bhel Puri”, you simply need to get all of the ingredients ready and chop them into fine pieces. Then, you add water to your blender and slowly blend all of the ingredients until they are blended to a smooth paste. You can add honey or any other flavorings if you want to adjust the sweetness of the dressing. After blending, you simply have to store it in the fridge until ready to serve. A lot of people actually prefer this type of dressing over mustard because it tastes so much better.
If you are looking for vegan recipes that have a creamy texture, then you will love “Bhel Puri ki Saag”. The main ingredient in this recipe is “Bhel Puri”, which is a thick sauce flavored with tamarind and hot dry fenugreek leaves. It is very thick and goes well with spicy dishes. The best thing about it is that it has a very distinct flavor that is not too strong, but rather subtle. One of the nice things about it is that it goes well with a variety of different vegetables including cauliflower, carrot, beetroot, radishes, onions, ginger, peas, and mushrooms.
If you love ranch flavors, “Ranch dressing” is a recipe that you definitely need to try. The ingredients that are used in this recipe have a creamy texture and are very rich in flavor. It is definitely one of the most popular vegetarian recipes in India and tastes even better when it is prepared with tomatoes. Another interesting thing about this vegetarian recipe is that it does not taste too much like ranch. Instead, its flavor is more like a creamy sauce that compliments the other ingredients.
“Kale salad with crispy tortilla strips” has a crunchy texture and a mild, sweet flavor. This is one of the most popular raw kale salads that you can try. All you have to do is to blend together chopped fresh kale, roasted chickpeas (or cardio beans), pinto beans, and hummus or Tahini dressing. You can add any favorite type of nutritional supplements that you like such as flaxseed oil, soy milk, and a variety of different nuts. When you blend these ingredients together, you can be sure that they will have a good flavor. It is definitely a delicious and healthy recipe that is easy to prepare and yet has a great flavor that is not too overpowering.
